I am considering purchasing an etrex h. To check it did what I wanted I just downloaded the user manual. Now I am confused becuase none of the displays shown in the manual show the location being displayed! I presume this is an oversite of the manual? It must surely be possible to display your location! And I presume I can choose it displayed using GB National Grid coordinates too.
Please do tell. |

The manual says you can change positional formats so it should do what you require
to the forum

There's screen displays in the Quick Reference Guide showing location.
Garmin support multiple postion formats and map datums, British Grid/Ordnance Survey being one of the standard inclusions so you shouldn't have any problems with that. |

You can display british grid reference as well as Long/Lat.
Just got an Etrex H and am delighted with it so far. |
