How does the Garmin Nuvi 710T compare?

Hello, Ive been looking into buying a TomTom 520/530 depending on prices. Ive also been offered a 710T as an alternative, How does this compare? From what i understand the Garmin doesnt quite have the same feature set, But what about the TMC, Maps? Sofware(OS)?

Also am i looking at the right range? Is the 310T? Or wait for 215W, Im looking for a large screen, Latest maps, Ability to add TMC at a later date. Optional bluetooth, FM

Don't know anything about the TT series but the Garmin website has a very good compare utility that lets you compare the different models they have for features.

As far as I'm aware te 710T would have Wide Screen, blue tooth, FM transmitter and FM TMC all as standard.

Of course, systems of satellite GPS have different features based on multiple criteria (price etc...). In order to compare, i use a review search engine and particularly the page for satellite GPS. You’ll find a lot of interesting information about GPS on the web, for example about the tomtom520
