Changing from Palm to PPC ???

Hi folks, after a little bit of advice if possible !!!

I have been using a Sony Clie NX70v for a while now along with the Kirrio GPS setup.

I was about to upgrade and buy a Clie TH55 but I found out yesterday Sony is withdrawing from the Palm market altogether. In my opinion, I think this will lead to less & less software etc being developed.

I am now torn between sticking with Palm (TH55) or going over to PPC. The PPC I have been looking at is the HP4150.

Does anyone have any experiences with either of these PDAs ???

Also, if I was to go over to PPC, I assume I could I still use the GPS receiver & Mapsonic that I have already. I would just need some sort of new sleeve or mounting solution to plug the GPS & PDA into.

Any advice would be gratefully received.

Accoring to their website you would need a new cable and the PocketPC version of their software. Not sure if they'd allow you to swap between PalmOS and PocketPC for free. You may need to pay an upgrade fee (worth asking though). You will need to get a converter for the GPS mouse so that it connects to the Ipaq at the bottom.

I personally use an Ipaq 2210 as I like the dual memory slots, and can stick a CF Wifi Card in if i need to.
