Halfords have now received stock for their online store. They are supposed to have a promotion called "10% off everything" which gets them nearer to the likes of handtec and Dabs...but the promotion does not seem to be working for this item! I like their definition of "everything"
The question is, were Halfords efficient enough for stores to get them over the weekend too. If they do it is unlikely the collect at store website option will work. |

From their T's and C's - small print.
* This promotion excludes all Sat Nav and Gift Vouchers. The £5 Off Catalogue Voucher cannot be used in conjunction with this offer. Bikes exclude the Apollo HoneyBee and Stinger kids bikes. This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other on-site promotion. |

Did you get any idea when the HD module will be available for x30s? I bought a 930 earlier this year specifically to get HD when it became available. Can you buy the module in the Nether lands and subscribe to the UK service? |

As the sim cards are internal to the HD Receiver and locked to the network of the country in which purchased you cannot buy over there and use in the UK it simply won't work.
We have no idea when / if the HD Receiver will go on sale for the UK, there is an entire thread about this very topic, see Here can any further discussion about the HD Traffic receiver be placed in the thread I linked to rather than this one - Mike |

It could be like some places having a e-commerce side and retail, And a case of one of the sides this case (e-commerce) having stock first. Or just being advertised as in stock but actually arriving early this week _________________ Currently Using: TomTom & iGO8 on Samsung I900 Omnia

Comet have said in stock (via various price comparison sites) for longer than that, but if you actually go through the order process, it tells you that they aren't in stock. |

I'm so glad I found this site when searching for reviews for sat navs. It was time to get something better than my ancient PocketPC with TomTom 3.
After reading this long thread about the x40, I have ordered a 940 from handtec. Now I really look forward to receiving my new toy ;) |

Pfft, I'm too impatient to wait for Dabs, and they won't offer me next day delivery, so I've just cancelled, and ordered from Halfords for delivery tomorrow.

From experience Dabs will not let you select next day delivery when they do not have stock of an item. However whenever I have ordered anything from Dabs on standard delivery of value, it always comes next day as they use a courier or RM special delivery for insurance purposes.
Is it really worth paying a lot extra to get something a day earlier? |
