Hi. I need a bit of help/advice please. When trying to update the Speed Camera Database to my TomTom One today, "Home" told me an update was available to my device, I downloaded and installed it. I then updated as normal the Speed Camera Database. However when using the One the speedcameras appear on the device as normal but I am no longer getting verbal notice of them, except for a couple of cameras when I only get a short "bing". Could someone help please?
Thanks in advance, Peter |

Firstly I'd try a soft reset. If that doesn't fix it then check to see if the POIs are configured for alerts. HOME is known to cause the alerts to be randomly reset so you may have to re-configure them.
If that is the case, take a backup the mapsettings.cfg file in your map folder once you have set them up. Then if it happens again you can simply overwrite the file with your backup to restore the alerts. _________________ Darren Griffin |
