Hello everyone,
Can anybody help me on this one please as I am now speechless: Last February, I have been envolved in accident (3 cars were involved) in around about. I was the first car, a van driver carelessly drove into the rear of my Alfa, and another careless driver as well drove into the rear of the van, sustained front damage.
My car had the following damage: rear bumper, boot floor and broken rear lights. The Van driver and I exchanged details also the third driver exchanged details with the segund driver (van driver). I was a bit unfortunate lost the Van driver's details, therefore I was an able to make a claim. I had no choice than repairing myself my beloved Alfa. Surprisingly after six Months the third driver has made a claim form in the count court against me, claiming 1800 pounds. He changed the story around, by saying that the accident it was caused by me, I drove into the rear of he's car forcing him to into the vehicle in front. The court has given me 14 days to respond to the claim, I can't afford hiring a solicitor as I am on part time. This case is causing me stress, I have no peace of mind. What is your opinion please? _________________ Nefe |

Sorry to hear about your misfortune.
The only offer of help I can suggest is trying one of these no win, no pay solicitors and claim it back, and perhaps post this message to uk.legal.moderated for a more direct legal response and suggestions.
Good luck.

I suggest you contact your insurance company and let them sort it out for you !! as long as you are insured the insurance company should pick up any third party liability which you may have!
Did you report your accident to your insurance company if not they may not be willing to help you .
Further than that advice I suggest you contact the CAB !! |
