Ive just had my 720 stolen and want to replace it inexpensively as possible, totalpda are advertising refurbished 720's for 140.99 & 720T's for 164.49 inc vat.
If I went for one of these would I still be entitled to the free latest map guarantee.
or if anyone knows where I could get a good deal on a new 720, I would appreciate the info.

Brand new 720 for £189.99 in Argos. Need to use their website as it is not in their Encyclopaedia anymore.
It is in the clearance sat nav section or just enter
504/0821 as catalogue number.
You wil lthen definitely get all the new maps, as I did it for my Mum and Dad at the weekend.
Cheers

thanks for that carl, unfortunately my local Argos is out of stock, Curry's are showing the traffic version for the same money but they are out of stock as well.
looks like I'll have to get the wallet out of mothballs and go for the 730.
Oh well I'll keep searching.
Cheers

Followed that link and found a Go 630T for £298. Not seen or heard of that one before. I didnt do a thorough comparison on the maps but looked identical to a 730T. _________________ iPhone4 IOS 4.3.3

I bought a factory refurbished 720T from totalpda three months ago. It was in brand new condition with apparently new accesories in sealed cellophane bags and it certainly came with the 30-day latest map guarantee. I consider it an excellent buy. |

The GO630 has a smaller Western_Europe map than the 730. Whereas the 730 has coverage of 31 countries in Western & Eastern Europe, the 630 has a 22 country Western Europe map only.
It's a strange beast introduced to compete with some other manufacturers in certain markets only.

Thanks for the replies guys
I managed to get a new 730T off eBay for £176 I also got the 30 day map guarantee when I connected to Home, Ive updated my files with the camera database, voice files, large icons etc and so far its been running spot on.
I just wish tomtom could do something about their computer voices, they sound so monotonous. _________________ Tom Tom Go 5100

Hate to say it but at the moment their TTS voices are the best of the bunch! _________________ Darren Griffin |
