Make sure hidden files/folders are showing.
Something to try, I guess, for those who are still not getting mapshares. |
Thanks for the tip, but it doesn't work. MapShare hasn't yet been switched on for all maps. We'll probably have to wait until sometime next week until MapShare is up'n running for all maps. |

Yes, they seem to be switching on MapShare gradually, one map at a time. |
Can we start a list then?
Post just the map number AND NAME, and say it is working.
Then the next person copy the details and add their line. That way we can get an easy to read reference.
To get the ball rolling, anyone seen corrections for v715 W+CE? |

Still no mapshare updates for the UK v8.10 map! That has to be one of the last ones to be released back into the mapshare system! Grrr _________________ Tomtom GO 1005 LIVE

Finally got updates this minute, said there was 2.2mb waiting to download. Now got 17562 corrections. About 2000 more than when the server stopped working! _________________ Tomtom GO 1005 LIVE

Nothing available for me on the UK+I 8.10 map. But then again Traffic and Speed Cameras still aren't working either so didn't expect anything really. |

Just went through the entire "Unsubscribe from Mapshare/ Remove corrections / Resubscribe again palaver, just to see if it made a difference today. Still nothing for 715 W+CE (and I should have added - 2GB version). |

I don't believe it! 2.2Mb of MapShare corrections for UK&ROI Map 8.10 now downloaded for a total of 13258 corrections in use.
Miracles do happen.
Nothing on TomTom.com though. _________________ Ric - TomTom 520 DEAD - Passed to the great traffic jam in the sky. Now using Maps & Waze on Samsung Galaxy S4 + CamerAlert of course! |

I deleted my mapshare download file to get the update, and also, the amount of maphares in use now depends on the 'trust level' that you have tthome set to. ie low will give you a higher amount of corrections being used than the tomtom verified and trusted users setting! _________________ Tomtom GO 1005 LIVE

I've been trying mapshare all weekend but get nothing ? also on the mapshare preference tab all the country's have gone so I can't tick for the UK.
I'm getting the GPS signal downloads so it's all connecting to the TT website OK so what the hell is going on with the TT server ?
Anyone |

maca2, it would help if you stated for which map you're trying to download map corrections. MapShare has not yet been reactivated for all maps.
