How to modify the predefined sounds

turboccc, I am trying to replace the default Bong sound for the speed alert in my Nuvi 860 (firmware 3.20).

Basically, I have installed VIB11 and although all navigation prompts are routed to my car stereo speakers I do not get the Speed Alert warnings. So maybe if I change the default Bong to a Voice message the VIB11 can recognise it as a navigation prompt and route it to the car's speakers.

Do you think I can use your GUpdateMod or it won't work with my 860?

Run the program over your GUpdate.GCD. If it founds wav sounds, it will work. I am guessing you have 95% chances it will work.
