I use a clip on attached to the inside of my front screen (no metalic film) and regularly get 9-11 sats on Xtrac. Go for it!! |

I also get 10-11 satellite fixes in XT mode (M40/42 11 sats for long stretches :D )
I have even managed a 12 satellite fix although that seems extremely hard to attain. Bizarrley if I look in my GPS util it can show a significant signal for all 12 but the last one stays black rather than turning red for a fix.
I have tried several other GPS receivers (Navman jackets * 2, Socket bluetooth *2) and colleagues have also tried a couple of others. The Fortuna ClipOn has performed perfectly and outperformed all the others.
The new version sounds even better but when you get to the above level of performance, even I start thinking upgrading is pointless!!!

As the Mio 168 is only just becoming available in Europe, I guess the answer to that is no.
