Great to see some progress on one of the many things that were promised nearly a year ago as being out very soon. Who knows, maybe a forum and some POI functionality may be out soon too!!
I'd like to see some sort of way of viewing the times I went past various waypoints on this route planning tool...now that the unit doesn't freeze twice during the course of long rides. _________________ I like mapping, I like mapping, I like mapping and I like to map! |

I suspect it's been pushed out in a hurry by Satmap because of this:

At last, Garmin have woken-up to the challenge thrown down by Satmap. It remains to be seen whether Garmin's implementation of OS raster mapping is better or not, but already I'm not convinced of the wisdom of having a touch screen in pouring rain and gail force winds on top of a mountain. Oh, and the Garmin screen is smaller too. |

And I can still read my SatMap unit in sunlight without any issues, that is when we get the odd warm day - Mike |
