I wonder if this new update has anything to do with the new Nuvi 7X5 series which is reported to have free traffic info but also has "pop-up" adverts. Not sure if these "pop-ups" are just for the USA as the service in the UK is already free for life. |

Oh good grief...
Pop ups on your satnav - if that isn't distracting and intrusive to your driving then I don't know what is. Are they (the manufacturers) trying to get their products banned from use?
Hopefully it is the US that is getting this 'service'. I wonder how long it will be before the first law suit citing pop up advertising?
The UK service isn't free - it's paid up-front as part of the hardware cost. _________________ Phil |
