bit of help needed with 720 camera alerts

Hi all, on the 720 camera alert section, it has "disable alerts" and "enable alerts" if i click enable alerts,everything else on the screen is greyed out, it is not greyed out if it reads "disbale alerts" but has a red cross over it.

thanks for bearing with it so far, is it in normal operating mode when it has the cross over it.

It's a bit confusing isn't it?
The way I remember things like this is: "the icon shows what you will do if you tap it"
So if it says "Disable alerts" (with the red cross) then your alerts are currently ENABLED.

When the icon says "disable alerts" with the red cross on it, it means alerts are active.
