You need to host the image somewhere first e.g. Flickr or on your own web-space, and then you can use the [IMG] tags to link to it. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Liked abarthboys post good idea to put a warning on the splash screen.

was looking for a car [and colour] specific splash screen for the golf we use our ONE in the most...couldn't quite find what i was looking for so thought i'd rustle something up - not perfect around some edges but barely noticeable! first contribution to the forum, which has provided some sound advice on some issues i've been having with the unit. any comments/criticisms welcome
p.s. rotated 90 CW as suggested on some instructions - others on this post don't seem to be so not sure if people are doing it after downloading! |

After 32 pages of macho male images I think it's time for a nice, calming girlie one! This is mine.

Aaaaaaaaaarrrrrrgggghhhhh!! Wash your mouth out with yellow soap, then dump that VW somewhere horrible! Golfs are horrid, I hate 'em all, but especially black ones. When I get to rule the world, the first rule of this forum will be "Thou shalt not mention black VW Golfs until after at least thy 247th post." to the forum. _________________ Dennis

Well *I* liked it afo!
As for the rotation, it used to be essential to have it rotated or it wouldn't show up, but I think they improved the software in later releases so it isn't neccessary any more
(although I can't remember if it won't work now if it *is* rotated! ) |

I'm working on a free tomtom splash screen page on my TomTom site, but i'm having a few problems finding a definitive list of the splash screen sizes? It’s a bit hard to find anything in this post.
It would be great if we could list the screen the sizes for the following models:
- TomTom GO 910, 710 & 510
- TomTom GO 920T, 720 & 520
- TomTom GO 910, 710 & 510
- TomTom ONE V4, V3 & V2
- TomTom ONE V2 & V1
- TomTom Rider V2
- TomTom GO 940, 740 & 540 ????
If anyone is interested in adding their work to my site, please just say
Thanks |

There are but two sizes, widescreen (480x272) and standard (320x240).
TomTom Classic, x00, ONE, RIDER are all standard
Tomtom XL, x10, x20, x30 & x40 are all widescreen. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Some people think I drive THIS
Others settle for a van with PGPSW Camera spotter stickers in the back windows.
