has anyone had any problems with the Go 930 battey warning?
my unit does not give any warning of a low battery, all that happens is the voice on the tomtom starts to crackle and break up and then the unit shuts itself down altogether with no warning at all and I get nowhere near the stated 5 hours battery life
The tmc is absolute rubbish, used it today coming back from scotland and there was a traffic jam on the A1 and the traffic was not moving, this traffic had been there a while and guess what? not any warnings at all, complete and utter rubbish. |

I read your thread regarding the use of your tom tom 930. I too have had similar problems with the device closing down on me, after 2 hrs and 17 mins. As my unit was brand new and fully charged, I contacted the Netherlands and they invited me to sent it to the repair centre in Fife in Scotland. They even provided a post paid special box for the unit.

I would say anything over 2 hours on the battery is about right in normal use, however the device is intended to be used with a car charger whilst on the move, doing this will avoid the crackle and pops from the speaker - Mike |

Strange when you read this and note its contents, Tom Toms response seems to contradict the many adverse comments of poor or even non existent customer relations.
