No favourites on new map

I have just tried to add some favourites on my new NA map and found all the favourite icons greyed out, is there anything i need to do to allow the selection of favourites?

I am using a TT520 with a 2GB SD card and the NA 720 2GB maps.

Do you mean the Add as Favourite and Manage Favourites icons?

The Manage Favourites will be greyed out until you have a Favourite to manage.

Because favourites are associated with the map in use any you may have had for your old map will still be available with that map.

At the moment it seems you have not created any favourites for your new map so none are shown.

It is possible to copy favourites from one map to another assuming both maps are for the same area, but it will need an expert to explain how this is done. I did know but have forgotten now.

If you have an old map backed up with your favorites on then you can simply transfer them over to the new map. Find the mapsettings cfg file on your back up and transfer it to the new map folder they will now show up.
If howver you do not have any favorites then as oldboy explained, the icons will be greyed out.
