From an e-mail I received (from BTST), pointing to truly mobile speed cams.

BEWARE :-(

http://www.btst.co.uk/SnazzyHat/

NB I am NOT associated in any way, shape, or form, but thought this info may be handy??

BTST claim you are protected against laser! What a load of BS!!

So how is this different from a Traffic Motorcyclist with a laser? Unless you are VERY lucky then if you get targetted by a laser and are speeding you're going to get a ticket, no laser detector will stop that.

Apols for the rant but BTST and now TALEX (both run by the same chap) spout so much rubbish that it makes my blood boil!

So do they have two more coppers on bikes down the road to chase after you? Laughing

Oopss!! Steady on Darren. Watch the blood pressure Wink

Appreciate your rant, but I wasn't advocating their goods or services in any way, merely showing the "ad" regarding the cyclist.

You pose the question "What's the difference between this and a traffic motorcyclist?" Size, one would imagine!! (Surely YOU should know that?? - From your background, from those that aren't sure of the comment!)M/cycle normally bigger/larger, with police markings emblazened upon.

Cheers..

(Have you found your Aspirin??) Embarassed

Possibly Andy, or these may be the "destructive" lasers. Point at target, pull the trigger, and eliminate. It'll save on the postage Laughing Laughing

Cheers

I wasn't aware that a motorcyclist was any larger than a cyclist Wink Seriously though, it matters little if you spot either as they will almost certainly have targeted you and obtained a reading long before you spot them.

My rant wasn't against you or your post, just BTST in general Rolling Eyes

"Go get 'em Tiger" ;-)

Just as a point, I do NOT have a laser warning device, as I rely soley upon PocketGPS speed cam database (HONEST - NO patronising) Laughing
Did try the TomTom db once, but found that they were not so fully accurate as PGPS.

Cheers
