i habe a route 66 mini and need to add custom poi's to either poi or favorites
been searching and dont think its possible
cant even find where the inbuilt pois are stored in order to try and addapt them
any ideas or is it a no go??? |

Can you find the about screen or version number of the software, if it is version 7 then you can add custom POI and Favourites, if its version 8 then you can add favourites but it has no custom POI support, I will move this thread to the Route 66 forum section - Mike |

its 8 . can i install 7 it sounds better
i bought it for work who supply a poi list of places i visit
pretty useless without it
why would routee 66 do that????
ps favorites would do but can i input them automatically?
what about contacts?
if i could add all the positions here it would be better but to do it manually would take ages

There is no way to automatically install locations as Favourites either as far as I can tell - Mike |

yes i can return it but must do so tommorrow
real shame as its a good device and i prefer it to the tom tom i will probably now have to buy
as i spent hours making and installing a custom mount for it grrr
STUPIDITY as you rightly said they must be loosing out loads because of this i showed it to work colleges anf we decided to buy quite a few but this has ruined it |
