Custom POI's Question

Hello All
I am new to all of this GPS stuff and have a quick question about POI

I have a Garmin Nuvi 255W with the Garmin Travel guide installed and some custom POI also installed

Currently to see any custom POI installed I have to go into the Main Menu tap Where to? Extras Custom POIs where they are all Categorized by type EG accommodation, Heritage etc.

Is there a way to have certain Categories just appear under the extra's option like the Garmin Travel guide does rather than having to go in custom POIs.

unfortunately not, they will always come under 'custom pois'

I spent last night trying to find something in the poi file I could change to make it appear in the Extra root list. No clue yet. The fact that the travel guides are encrypted is not helping. Maybe I will get lucky someday.
