|
Hi
I`ve sucsessfully installed Tomtom 3 on my new medion ppc250, But while playing with it i ran the TomTom wizard & now its disabled my wired gps & made the bluetooth one (which i don`t have) its default.
How do i remove the bluetooth one & get back to my working setup???
thanks sk1n ;) |

Try a Hard reset and reinstall TomTom 3. ![Thumbs Up](modules/Forums/images/smiles/custom2.gif) |

Tried uninstalling TOmTOm then re-installing & when i got to the wizard used the wired gps & not the wireless one but still its only going straight into Bluetooth mode.
Have seen somewhere about a registry hack that solves the problem will have to have a look around.

Launch the GPS Applet and set the GPS to COM1. You can also uninstall the wizard, it's a PITA and unnecessary once you've seen it once ![Smile](modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) _________________ Darren Griffin |

No need to go that far, it only needs the GPS Applet to be run and the correct GPS assigned. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Managed to solve the problem by changing the default GPS in the Tomtom prefs to NMEA 0183v2 4800 on COM 1.
Thanks for the help in getting there. |
