Hey guys,
need advise on this one!
Bought the 730T about month or 2 ago and already the RDS-TMC antenna does not connect when i plug it in... after a few pulls out and in it eventully works. Is this a known problem with the sat nav or the antenna???
I did not take extra insurance out on this as i bought it from comet and theres is rubbish!
Is it covered under the manufactors guarantee that being TomTom or could i take it back to comet (i have searched for return policy with comet and cant find it)
Oh and to add to it, it freezes up and then restarts the whole sat nav (that being the load screen "welcome to your tom tom" bit)
Anyone help???
Many Thanks

Moved to TomTom forum.
In most cases, the DOA period is usually only about 14 days, after which items have to be returned to the manufacturer for repair under the manufacturer's warranty.
I would suggest that you speak to both TomTom and Comet customer services and see what each tells you. _________________ Andy

Make sure you fully insert the RDS-TMC connector into the base of the 730 it can be quite a tight fit and require pressure to seat fully home in the socket - otherwise contact TomTom using 0845 161 0009 to sort out a warranty issue on the hardware - Mike |
