Particularly as you can possibly get a better deal ordering online, I wouldn't bother ordering direct from TomTom unless you have to (such as an upgrade). I have a feeling that TomTom tend to convert all order totals to Euros, so there's often exchange rate charges to pay to your card company (even if there's no commission, they'll still make something on the interest rates used).
I only order direct from companies when I have to - otherwise I use favourite resellers (usually Inmac, Insight or eBuyer - the latter are cheap, but can be slower on returns than the other two). Dell are about the only company I gladly deal direct with - you have no option with Dell, as they don't use resellers.
In fact, I've just placed an order with Dell today.

It looks like that last phone call got something done. I now AT LAST have a UPS Tracking number.

I was rather luckier. Ordered TTN3 Upgrade late evening on Thursday 20th May, and it arrived on Wednesday 26th May. Can't install yet as my existing SD card is 128 MB and I'm still waiting for a 256 MB card to arrive.
One query, I wanted to read the manual on the CD Rom and can't access it. Whatever I do, all I can get is the Install wizard - I don't want to run that yet for fear of using up one of my activations! I don't seem able to view the contents of the CD Rom.
I don't have Bluetooth - my GPS receiver is a Holux 210 (wired). Can I ignore the call to run set up a second time to install the updated GPS driver?

Don't worry - you won't lose an activation. You can only use an activation if you input the Product Code from the box. In any case, reactivation the same device isn't counted against you in the activation system.
