Sorry to be a pain i am a virgin to all this!!!! i have just bought a tomtom 720 traffic and not sure what instructions to follow so that i can also get the spoken warnings of the speed cameras? many thanks |

Before you do anything else i would urge you to do a backup of the unit if you haven't already....

What are you trying to do as you shouldn't need to put the Western_Europe Map on to CD (as you have found it won't fit anyway), if you want a removable media backup use a DVD instead as these will have adequate capacity.

I know i am becoming a pain but installed as instructed but can not get the audio warning sounds to function, it just says is this the sound you want? on my old tomtom go it let you listen to them first ? |

Cheers just said yes to them all & seems to have worked!!!!!! is the sound a bit distorted on yours when set to 85%? i like to have the radio on as well & it was fine on my origional tt go until it went up in smoke!!!! |

Have you got the unit powered from the vehicle when you have been trying this, the sound often distorts when on battery power alone, the device is supplied with a car charger lead and is intended to use it - Mike |

Hi yes it was self powered, if you keep using the charger lead will this deter rate the battery life? |
