Hi and welcome.

Before you do anything else i would urge you to do a backup of the unit if you haven't already....

Details can be found on this page

Backup is #1

Speed Cam Sounds is #5

What are you trying to do as you shouldn't need to put the Western_Europe Map on to CD (as you have found it won't fit anyway), if you want a removable media backup use a DVD instead as these will have adequate capacity.

Have you got the speed camera issues resolved? - Mike

Check the instructions again - they say "Answer YES, even though you don't hear a sound". Some sort of bug to do with this application of warning sounds.

TT7 on my HTC Diamond does this too. You have to click yes. If you click no it just hangs.

Have you got the unit powered from the vehicle when you have been trying this, the sound often distorts when on battery power alone, the device is supplied with a car charger lead and is intended to use it - Mike

Hi yes it was self powered, if you keep using the charger lead will this deter rate the battery life?

The modern Li-Pol batteries like to be kept with a charge. It is detrimental to let them go flat too many times.
