I would just follow everyone else.... Or were you expecting to be right at the front? |

There was a file download available from the marathon web site a while ago but it contained hundreds or thousands of locations, as such you could convert it to ov2 format and install it as a POI file but you couldn't use to produce an itinerary due to the number of locations - Mike |

Hi jempie
If you go to
http://www.london-marathon.co.uk/site/?pageID=2&article=168 you will find the route.
If you then sit patiently you will be able to create an Itinerary on your Tomtom that will follow the route displayed on the website above.
Unfortunately if you are not familiar with creating Itineraries it will take you sometime to accomplish the plotting. However, you should manage it. Have fun. _________________ Tomtom Go 720.

But remember that you can have only 48 way-points when you create a route. _________________ http://www.runarweb.com |

Hi runarg
Yes, you are correct. I haven’t had time to see how many waypoints the marathon route would gobble up but it should keep jempie occupied for about the same time as it took the marathon winner to run the route. _________________ Tomtom Go 720.

This sounds like a good job for "Tyre", run tyre side by side on screen with that map from Trevor, set up the route and then get tyre to export an itinerary to the TomTom.
If you come up against the 48 waypoint limit, you'll have to split it up into several smaller chunks. |
