Hi
Outdoorsmagic have just released their new online route planner/share’r/anything else you want to do with a route, thingy, it can be found here:

www.outdoorsmagic.com/routes/default.aspx?v=7

I just done a quick test of a GPX file download and it appears to be in a format that the A10 is happy with - without going through a converter.

Hope you find it useful

Jason
PS Apologies for the lack of the correct technical terminology Smile

What am I doing wrong?

Downloaded the GPX file for a walk from Tideswell to pc, copied it to device using drag and drop, import and copying directly to SD card via card reader. In all three instances the file is visible in satsync (latest version) but not visible on device.

I have found previously that renaming gpx files on the pc has no effect when re-loaded onto device, so I conclude that there must be a "header" in the gpx that is required to be visible on the Satmap.

Just tried the same route (tideswell) and its all fine on my unit! Used the "import" and saved to internal memory.
Obvious question but have you unplugged from USB and turned A10 off then on....?

Thanks for the advice Fatchef.

Worked this time.

Interestingly, the file is called 151.gpx when downloaded, appears as 151.map in satsync and route 0001 on the Satmap.
