I must have missed all the discussion on IQ routes, because scrolling down the tomtom page I can't see much! Can someone send me in the right direction please? I have a TomTom Go - is there any reason IQ routes could not get added to that in the fullness of time, given that presumably it's a software thing linked to the time of day set in the device? |

Assuming TomTom release an update for your hardware that can use IQ routes and you upgrade the map to one that contains IQ route data then there is no reason why it wouldn't work.
IQ Routes only factors the day of the week it is not time of day releated - Mike |

IQ routing will in the future no doubt be added by a software upgrade and the purchase of the latest mapping ( I think the idea will be to encourage people to upgrade there maps to enable this)
I think that is what you wanted to know .
What Tomtom do you own ???
Edit
Beat me again I must learn to type faster |

There's plenty of discussion about it here! Try THIS TOPIC for starters.
The feature will work on older devices running v8 software (not yet available for anything except the x30's but coming soonish) AND v8 maps, as the data is encoded in the map itself. |

Thanks for reply. Sorry, I only login every six weeks or so, so sorry for late reply! I own the one, the original, the big, the now unattractive-to-seal Tomtom Go original! |
