Hello to everyone this is my first post and i feel like a complete novice ,
I have just bought myself my first Satnav 10 days ago,
It was either the Tomtom One v3 Europe, Garmin 750
I chose a Navman S90i in the end because i got it for £175 and interest free over a year, So thought it was a very good deal,
I have read lots of articals about this model and was aware about some of the issues,
One thing i do not understand is the updating from the Navman site,
My Satnav has on the splash screen;
S90i v1.00.0020 does it need the download from the Navman site and if so how do i do it, As the Navman site doesn't give details of how to do this,
I dont own a navman but as i understand it you have to install NavDesk to your computer then once your nav is connected to comp you use navdesk to update it.
As far as the link you put in your post i think you have the latest up date so you dont need to download that.
If i am wrong someone will correct me
I download the manul here
http://www.navman.com/Navman/Templates/standardcontent____69858.aspx
and it dont seem that hard to update to me page 101 onwards.
