|
|
Hello,
Probably another topic that has been discussed elsewhere, but here goes.
I have been sat entering some places that we intend to visit on our forthcoming holiday.
I now have a problem, well it isn't a REAL problem but it got me thinking, the first favourite in my list is "Argos Bargain Place" and the next one is "Auschwitz". Like I said not a real problem, it just feels a little strange!!
Now what I was wondering is if you can make a different folder and then still access them from the device. i.e. "Holiday Favourites" which, when selected, would take me to those favourites.
I apologise if it has been discussed previously.
Cheers

You would need to create separate POIs, which you can access as and when you need. POIs can be transferred to any TomTom Device, or Map, and will work. Just name it Holiday Favourites and add as many as you want.
With Favourites there are only a small number of locations that can be stored. There is also the problem that if/when you update the Map you then lose your Favourites. This is because they are stored in the MapSetting.cfg File in the Map Folder.
You cannot store, or use, files stored in sub-folders as the TomTom has a strict Folder structure. _________________ Richard

Rather than set them up as favourites why not use Custom POIs that way you can have a number of different POI sets for the one holiday split out into separate categories. _________________ Mike Barrett |

Oops had that one open for too long and got beaten to both the answer and the confirmation that it works... ![Embarassed](modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_redface.gif) _________________ Mike Barrett |
