changes to car symbol causes reboots!!!

hi

I am trying (for a million times!) to change my car symbol from the default blue arrow to a new one. But EVERY time i hit the change symbol icon my unit crashes and reboots, it even asks me to agree to the copyright agreement!!

any help please.

using version 8.010 on a 720

Using 3D view? I haven't heard of crashes and reboots, but the symbol is only changeable in 3D.
