|

Hi All
I have followed the guide for installing the helpme software onto my TT710 and I have no button in the menu to use the service. Given that I have a minor heart condition it would be rather useful to get it working.
I have placed the 'helpme' directory into the root of the SDCARD and then downloaded the extra poi data from the TomTom website.
Can anyone offer advice? Have I got to enable it in the TT710 or via TomTom Home? The only non-standard application installed is Tripmaster and I can't work out how to get rid of it
I have software version 7.161.
Kind Regards,
Jeremy Ward. |

Hi, If you still have a custom menu (from Tripmaster) this will stop the Help Me menu item showing.
To remove Tripmaster you:
1. remove the folder /tripmaster,
2. in the /sdkregistry folder, remove all the files beginning "trip", (If you ONLY had Tripmaster you can delete everything here).
3. if you had any other add-ons installed, remove also the /skin folder.
Once the custom menu is gone, you should get the Help Me menu back, and with a bit of luck you should already have installed the content for it. |
