hi all and thanks for reading this......It seems I ,like many others ,have made the mistake of buying a satnav200...but for me it gets worse.I work only on macs and wondered can anyone help me upgrade the speed cameras using os10 leopard or tiger..Im on the verge of taking it back with a list of forum complaints and getting something else.Can you guys help?...in anticipation thanks alot....rich |

Possibly RAC SatNav 200???? Website = http://www.66.com/rac/
No mention so far of Mac support..... Lots of dead links like the RAC site though.... |

And if indeed this is Route 66 check the version number of the software, if it is vs7 there is some hope for custom POI files including the speed cameras from this web site, although I suspect it will be using the newer pathetic version 8 where there is no custom POI support.
If the above is the case I would look at swapping it at the retailer for a TomTom One, at least this offers custom POI support and mac compatability - Mike |

Running vs7 software you can follow the instructions on This Page, it will require subscription to the web site to access the download, to be sure it will work with your device you might want to consider trying a couple of the free POI files from the extensive list on This Page (choose the Garmin csv file type for your device) - Mike |
