Sorry for the dumb question, i've read so many threads i'm now confused.
I updated my XL via HOME to v8.010 earlier this week - no issues there, and i can see a few new options like the car cursor options etc. I have v675 maps currently
What are the latest XL genuine maps from Tomtom, and other than the revised roads what other features do i get ? IQ Routing ? ALR ??
How up to date are these maps ? There are lot of roadworks almost complete in my area currently, i realise these won;t be on the latest downloads yet, but if an update is due in the autumn i might be better waiting.
Thanks |

Difficult to say. Maps can be upto a year or 18 months behind reality, but some major road schemes get added before they are even open! |

The re-building of the A1 junctions South of the A57 interchange is a good example of where the latest maps are actually ahead of the road construction, they are still laying tarmac in places but TomTom thinks the road alterations are complete - Mike |
