it can take 48 hrs for a response, but even that will probably be to ask for the device number! mine took 5 days from submitting my details to getting my map upgrade and I spotted the e-mail asking for the device code within 1\2 hour of them asking.

moral: give them time, you'll get it eventually.

phoned the t*ssers this morning. was promised maps by end of day. now get this!

Can you provide us with detailed information about your configuration, so that we can troubleshoot more effectively? Please connect your device to TomTom HOME, select Help / Configuration info (version 1) or System information (version 2). Copy and paste the information in reply to this.

well, after a week without any response, i finally got the e-mail from TomTom and they have added the Western Europe and North American v720 maps.

I don't think it should have taken over a week to get them, but fair play, they got there in the end. Confused

Now i just have to leave my PC overnight to download the whopping 3.7Gb files........Damn VirginMedias traffic management. Evil or Very Mad

Couldn't find the official statement on the Virgin media website, but i'm sure it's buried in there.

Essesntially, for me on the Large package, if i download more than 2.4Gb between 10am and 3pm i get throttled for 5 hours minimum capped at 1Mb ( as i haven't had the free upgrade to 10Mb), if i dare download more than 1.2Gb between 3pm and 9pm the same applies.

I'll start the download at 9pm, and hope tomtoms servers are up to giving me my full 4Mb. I really can't rely on downloading it overnight and hoping for the best it'll work 1st time tomorrow. Confused
