|
|
Hi,
I received the updated Maps of Europe with my upgraded TTN3 and I was just wondering if anyone has used these and can comment on their improvements please?
I'll be driving to Spain in a few weeks and was reasonably happy with last years European Maps, but was wondering what improvements I could look forward to |

The MRE is finally allowing you to do routing across country borders. This is a major change from version 2 where you had to change maps at the border, and could not create routes from, let's say, London to Sevilla.
Drawback is of course that it expects you to stick to the highways and major streets - so not something for bikers. _________________ Lutz

Thanks for the reply, but I wasn't referring to MRE but the additional product "The Maps Of Western Europe" which are the full European Maps.
If you'd previously purchased these you got them included in your upgrade for no extrat cost
Wanted feedback from anyone that has used these new full European Maps? |

I can tell you from my experience in Vienna , Austria
all the roads and the changes to roads(the ones i know about) that were missing in tt2 are in the new maps of tt3 , it looks like the Austrian Teleatlas team worked really hard. |

Italy maps are only partially updated, in particular many oneway roads can be driven in opposite way. I would hope a better work. |
