The Google Map is missing from the Submission Page.
Is this a result of MaFt's new project mentioned elsewhere, or is it just my PC? |

It looks like the page has been split in two but it's not obvious. There is a submit cameras link near the top of the page. Also the "WE NEED YOU" submit cameras link on the left of this page still goes to the download page rather than the new submission page.
The submit link in the Members Area sidebar on the left still goes to the download page too. |

Thank you for finding it.
It seems as if MaFt's been busy!
Must change my 'link' to the map. |

The google map works for me ok
The "WE NEED YOU" submit cameras link on the left of this page still goes to the download page for me to
And if you click the submit cameras in the members box on the left it also takes you to the download page
only way i found to get to submitions is to go to download page and use the link at the top of that page |

The webpages have been split overnight [or recently]
The download page and the Submission page have been split. |

As you've spotted, we have now split downloads and reports to make the process less confusing.
We'll get the side bar links tidied up today.
This is stage one of a much bigger project which will result in a much cleaner and hopefully very much simpler download page and ultimately a cleaner submission page also. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I've had a closer look at some of the details on the speed camera pages now that they have been split. Can I suggest that the description of Truvelo cameras in the Camera Type Guide is not quite correct and should be changed? It currently says;
"Similar to Gatsos but these are forward facing - i.e. it will have taken your picture before you reach it. They use infra red so they won't blind you and therefore can be impossible to tell if you have been caught - well, unless you weren't speeding."
Perhaps it should be changed to something like;
"Similar to Gatsos but these are usually forward facing - i.e. they will have taken your picture BEFORE you reach them. They use infra red so they won't blind you and therefore can be impossible to tell if you have been caught - well, unless you weren't speeding. However, they can also be rear facing (like Gatsos) so may take your picture AFTER you pass the camera, so don't assume that just because the camera is facing in a particular direction you can't be caught." |
