| I still can't get a RDS signal with this version - tried rolling back to 7 and it picks up straight away. |

Are you sure it's the maps that are on "ale", Darren, and not you?

HOME doesn't offer me the navicore update, but I have downloaded the navicore files from the links earlier in this thread, so how do I install them please?  |

If you check back to pages 8 & 9 of this thread, there are instructions for how to install the CAB files.

Hi Folks
I have just downloaded navcore 8 (for the 720) via the link on Page 1 of this topic.
Has anyone any idea why Tomtom stopped us downloading two weeks ago? The files look the same as they did on the original download.

The recommended backup method is using Windows Explorer - not the backup facility in HOME.
If you create a new folder on your desktop (or somewhere convenient) and simply drag and drop files from your TomTom.

Rumour has it that TomTom got ahead of themselves and released it prematurely

Don't forget that if you are still on v7.221 you have to update to v7.480 before it offers you v8.010 |
