tells me my 920T does not support it! Is this true. The manual suggests I can do it. I have a 2GB SD card in it that it seems to see ok.
Thanks

You need a folder on either internal storage or a sd card called mp3 (all lower case) in which to store mp3 files. Yes, the x20 series DOES support the playing of mp3 files. Make sure your card is sdhc and formatted for fat32 if you wish to store music in the mp3 folder on the card. |

thanks dhn
seems i could play the samples when I took the 920 off its cradle and this now seems to have sorted everything including creating an mp3 folder on the SD card

As you've now discovered, there are several things that you can't do in the on-screen emulator in "Home". I think you'll also find you can't do anything with TTS voices or mobile phones.
BTW, re the previous reply, the card doesn't need to be SDHC, any old card I've tried has worked (without a re-format either). |

Uh, that would be me....
I guess I've gotten so conditioned to relating sdhc cards with the x20 models since the x20's (and x30's) can work with them that I don't make it clear the x20's do work with other cards too.
Thanks for the clarification. |
