Help, deleted map on i3 card ! How do I get it back ?

Hello All

I accidentally deleted everything on the tiny SD card ... now I have no map at all !

How can I get it back on ? I have the box and yellow slip with the codes on and everything but where do I get a map from ? I think it was V8 map.

If I got one off eBay, would the codes work with my device ?

Any advice you can give will be appreciated !

PS I did ask Garmin and they said use the mapinstall wizard but the codes seem to be wrong even though I kept the yellow slip.

You have to use your original card as it's locked to your i3.

If you have the map cd then it should just load back to the card and work.

The default files on the card are:

voice (which is a folder with the voice files inside)
gmapsupp.img
gmapsupp.unl

If you look on the cd, copy those files back to your card and it should work.

If you don't have the cd then you may need to send your card with the yellow reg slip and original invoice back to Garmin so they can send you back a new card and reg code. ( may be a charge for that - but you need to contact them first).

Thanks for the reply. There's one CD in the box but it's a USB driver only .... I'll mail Garmin.
