|
|
Hi everyone.
I dont know if I am doing something wrong, or if there is a problem with my garmin sat nav, but the last 3 speed cam updates are showing incorrect and odd speeds. for example, in a 30 limit is shows a speed alert of 19 MPH. None of the speed alerts are showing me the correct limits.
Can anyone help me, or has anyone experienced the same.
Best regards to all. |

I think the clue here is that 19mph is 30k/h. You have a imperial/metric mismatch somewhere. |

You've got POILoader using km/h instead of mph. |

....so you have to re-load them again, this time with POILoader set to MPH.
Don't feel bad about it though... this is one of the most regularly asked questions, so you're not alone! |

Hi
Thanks guys. All your responses are much appreciated.
I did consider the settings of the poi loader, but I didnt check it before I posted the query, mainly because I dismissed it when I looked at my speedo and found that 30 mph was 48kmh. silly really. I should have checked.
Anyway, thanks again to all of you. Its working fine now.
Best regards to all. |
