Hi.
I have just purchased this new device. It is running Navcore version 7.502. I cannot see how I can pair the device with my Bluetooth phone so I can utilise the TomTom Plus services - as there is no obvious options on the TomTom.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jason. |

The TomTom ONE does not have any bluetooth facilities. I think you will have to use TomTom Home on a PC or laptop to access any extra items. _________________ Dave R (h5djr)

They ALL have bluetooth for TT Plus services but only the X10, X20 & X30 also have handsfree phoning facility. |

Erm... are you quite sure about that?
They did, but I think it has been stripped out of the "V4" There's no mention of it having Bluetooth on the TT website or in any review I've seen. |

Well in that case perhaps you could help the original poster access the information he is looking for. _________________ Dave R (h5djr)

Yes it was. I must admit I didn't think the lastest v4 had bluetooth either, but I may be wrong. _________________ Dave R (h5djr)

Hi all,
I contacted TomTom in the end and tts true the new One V4 does not have bluetooth, which is why I was finding it very difficult to get it working!! Also interesting was the lady on customer service and no idea of the new product initally, and had to look it up as well!!
Have to say looking at some of the original press releases/reviews on it - I really thought it did, my mistake but it was confusing, and I am surprised you can not use the Plus Services via bluetooth.
I have sent the device back and ordered a 520 instead, as I am keen to use the TomTom Traffic rather than the RDS TMC after reading the short-comings of the RDS TMC.
Thanks for the replies though!! |

My apologies.
As pointed out previously, these new version Ones & XL's do NOT have bluetooth (talk about penny-pinching).
The next updated models will probably not come with a speaker & will need a headset!!!!!!! |

I know this is old, but it caught my eye.......... I have a One New Edition (v4) and it definately does have bluetooth.
Is the unit in question here a 4th edition rather than v4? Mine has bluetooth, 1001% fact. |

Look on the bottom label, if there is a 'Bluetooth' logo , then it is so equipped. |

v1 = Original
v2 = never released
v3 = second edition
v4 - I think was the first with GL Hammerhead GPS chipset, flash memory and SD card slot with an RDS-TMC connection on it, but it was very short lived - possibly only US device
v5 = Original One XL
v6 = One Third Edition Europe unit
v7 = One Third Edition Regional unit
v8 = One New version with fold away mount
v9 = One XL New version with fold away mount |
