Was planning on getting a tomtom 530T and was just wondering about the coverage available in Northern Ireland. Is it really the 'door to door' detail that is claimed, as I have read that coverage on some older models has not been great.
Many thanks |

Why not name a couple of locations so people can reply with a screen capture to show you the map detail at that location? - the mapping level is certainly door to door for Northern Ireland - Mike |

hey, thanks for the reply. I don't really have any specific locations in mind... was just looking for an opinion on the coverage available in general |

I had a TT One v2 and found the coverage over there spot on. Maps are now even more updated so should be even better.
I have a 730 now, PM me a couple of locations and I will check for you but as this has more upto date maps than the One then can only be better.
For an instance, I can navigate to a pals house in a small village near coleraine that is 10 miles from a main road and his estate has only been built 4 years
I also use it to navigate to mobile phone towers, many of which are on forestry land, some of the forestry tracks are even on there now.
