|
|
Hi,
I bought a Nuvi 350 T yesterday in Halfords bank hol;iday sale. seems like a great piece of kit. I think I have noticed a problem though. Whne navigating the TTS voice (Emily I think) seems really distorted. The volume is set as it was when it came out of the box.
Is this normal for this model or does mine have a problem?
I have been using an i3 for the last 2 and a bit years and have never thought that the voice was distorted.
Any opinions greatly accepted.
Thanks

I don't like the Emily voice on my 760. I use the Daniel voice as it's more human and less "Distorted" / "Robotic". |

I always back the volume off 1 notch or 2 on the Daniel voice to avoid distortion but it does sound a lot better than robot Emily :-D.
I think I am going to get a new car stereo with a 3.5mil jack input on it then I can plug my nuvi into it and have mp3's playing and auto muted when it gives directions, has anyone done this, cant say I have ever seen a car stereo with a jack input but I have never looked for one until now.
Has anyone done this, better nuvi direction sound quality to is a bonus. |

Yeah thanks Paul I mean exactly that, I will be visiting halfords at the weekend I think, I could have gone the Wired car stereo FM Modulator route but the sound quality will be better with a front aux. |
