Press the re-set button in, and keep it in for 30 seconds, and let us know if it worked. Did you back up the TomTom, if so with what TomTom HOME, or Windows Explorer? _________________ Audi A3 Sline sat nav |

You can try to restore your backup using Home. |

Have you removed your device from the PC without using the TomTom Home "Disconnect from PC" option (or Safely Remove Device in Windows)? If so, you may have corrupted some of the files on the device.
As already suggested, restoring from the backup would be your next angle of attack.
When you do get it working again, immediately make a backup using Windows Explorer, rather than TomTom Home. The Explorer method has better reliability than Home! |

If you have only just bought it, I would take it back, and exchange it for another one, then, do a windows explorer backup of it. Can you see the TomTom on your computer, does it show up as an external drive, and can you see the contemnts of the drive? But like I said, If you have only just bought it, why mess with it, just take it back. _________________ Audi A3 Sline sat nav |

If you connect it your PC/Mac, can you see it via Explorer? If yes then we can try a few things, if not it's broke and best advice would be to take it back to the retailer. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I purchased a new TomTom ONE v3 Europe about a week ago and it all seems to be working as it should. I've done a couple of backups, added some POIs and changed some menus and the splash screen as it still works!!! _________________ Dave R (h5djr)
