|
|
Hi All, I have recently purchased a subscription and added the speed camera database to my PDA running TomTom Navigator 6, when i downloaded it, i selected the "single file with all cameras option", i successfully added them to my PDA and set up the warn when near POI option, As a test i browsed the map and looked for some known cameras but there are no symbols showing, Points of interest is ticked in the map detail preferences and the cameras are definitley enabled, is this supposed to work like this or haven't i done something right?
Any help with this will be appreciated, thanks in advance |

Well they should show....
And I can't see you've done anything wrong either.
The only things I can think of are:
1. you are zoomed out too far?
2. You have got too many POI categories installed (I think it is a maximum of 39 on Navigator 6), but if that was the case, you wouldn't be able to enable them, they simply wouldn't show on the selection screen. |

I have zoomed right in on 6 different camera locations that are near to me, and have checked the entire road to make sure that i wasn't missing them, I only have 6 POI categories including the 2 speed camera ones in addition to the standard POIs, Also i have no problem in seeing other POIs when browsing the map |

Hmmm...
I thought for a moment maybe the icon was missing, but I'm pretty sure it would work the same as the PND versions and just show a red square if it was missing.
I assume you have downloaded and used the "ov2" file format version?
Other than that, I'm all out of ideas.
Hopefully someone else will be along soon with some better thoughts. |

Indeed the file format is ov2
Edit: It now works I cleared the SD card and re-uploade all the TomTom Files and the maps and now it seems to work, Thanks PGPSW for providing such a great product |
