I have been using TT Navigator 6 with TT Traffic and my Three 3G UK mobile.

Have just bought a 730. Can connect to the phone (Nokia E65) for phone calls, but when I try the mobile data connection it gets stuck at 65%.

Planning to switch to HD Traffic when it comes out, but would like to use standard TT traffic until then.

Anyone either had the same problems, or know the solution?

The solution for me was to choose "other" rather than the pre-prepared "Three 3G".
Not sure everything will be exactly the same for other phones, but I just removed the username and the password. Everything else was the default.
I have now made my first journey using my 730 with TT Traffic info.

I am using 3 Prepay (Works with contract as well)

and did the following,

When it asks for network select other it will then let you change settings manually

access point is three.co.uk
username is your TOMTOM email address
password is your tomtom password
DNS Server Automatic
DIAL is *99***1#
login script is at+cgdcont=1,"IP","three.co.uk"

and enter

since I did that mine has worked perfectly, not sure what site the info came from, but its what someone said worked and it has for me

AHA - the old "Stuck at 65%" post...

I'm thinking of changing my username to "Leave it on 65%" Laughing Out Loud

(Private joke, in terms of me being the one to discover that this is common behaviour, and that for most, LEAVING IT {often for over an hour} sorts the problem).

For more info, and hopefully a solution to your problem, see the second post, by me, in this thread: HERE

What if my phone is not listed on tomTom? I have Sony Ericsson W660i and on the website it says it is compatable, but it is not in the list with other wpones when I am trying to get the wireless connection... I am trying to sellect the 'Other' or a different Sony phone, but so far none of the tips I found worked for me...

Try selecting Sony K800 that one seems to work with a lot of other Sony Handsets

Sorry ginvzt, whilst the info I supplied MIGHT help (bear in mind, it links to another thread, that also has a link to info of mine in yet another), the post was specifically at the OP, as it related to his Nokia phone, and so far ALL of these 65% posts I have replied to, have been in relation to Nokia handsets - predominantly Symbian Series 60 Nokias at that.

I have indeed heard that for a lot of newer S.E. phones, there are lots of problems.

Thanks everyone! I'll try to play with it again tonight.

Can anyone explain to me how long is the 'promotional' TomTom traffic subscription? WhenI go to My TT, it says:

"TomTom Traffic - 1 year subscription
Valid until 16-06-2008 "

Well, I don't about them, but june 2008 for me is one month away, not one year!
