When you copied the camera files to the map folder did you copy all the files that were in the download or just the files that end with .ov2 each camera category comprises of an ov2 file (the actual date) and a coresponding .bmp file which is the icon.
If the bmp files are missing the TomTom will use a default red square instead.
If you think you sent the entire download to the device download it again and try for a second time, it could have been your download that was corupted for some reason - Mike |

You've not given us much detail to go on...
Is it the database from this site?
Are the "custom icons" from this site? If so, which ones?
A couple of pointers to get you going:
The normal icons must be 22x22 pixels square, they must be bitmap images not jpegs, and they must have exactly the same name as the POI datafile they got with.
For example, for the 20MPH Gatso camera file from here "pocketgps_uk_gatso_20.ov2" you need an icon file called "pocketgps_uk_gatso_20.bmp".
You CAN intall additional double sized icons which are used for the large flashing display in the corner of the screen (instead of the system scaling up the normal ones), but these are optional.
Also you must check your PC is setup to show the three letter extensions to every file, otherwise it is very easy to name your icons something like "pocketgps_uk_gatso_20.bmp.bmp" by mistake.
If you have used the icons from this site and not changed anything, they should work fine. |

If you are going to use those you also need the standard size (22x22) that come with the camera download. These are the icons that show on the Map.
You should have:
Temp.ov2
Temp.bmp
Temp_X2.bmp
and, optionally, Temp.ogg _________________ Richard

It's only the corner icon that flashes.
Personally I like the 22x22 and the Double Size 44x44 set. _________________ Richard
