Hi,
Has anyone noticed if the viamichelin speed camera update has changed from "march". When I connect it still shows march even though its now May. Sad

Maybe viamichelin has now decided to stop the free monthly speed camera updates Question

For me, in the viamichelin page it's showing August! I guess they mean last August and not next. It has the link by it to click for update, and clicking that seems to do nothing as when I hit sync nothing happens. I'm running 7.0.3 BTW if that helps.,

And what device are you using? I presume the X970T ?

I have just (yesterday) updated all my safety cameras from the site with no problems. Open your Content Manager and click on Michelin Guides. In the full list I had the latest update as March 2008, if you have not previously updated your safety cameras then yours may be anything earlier. Scroll down to the first camera you want to add to your device.. In the far right column click on Add and this should change to Remove. Do this for all the Speed camera updates that you need. Now go to the Synch button at the bottom right of the list and click it. You should now see a dialog box with a progress bar synching with device. Wait until it completes and now shut down the Content Manager. Turn off your device and remove it from the connection. Job done - or should be Wink

It seems that they date their update on the website as the current month, last time I looked it said 4/2008, when you download to CM it's the month before i.e. March.

It seems this is the way of the world, as the updates generally appear at the beginning of the current month presumably containing the previous months data.

Waits to be proved wrong Wink

Hi,

I'm using the x960 new edition with version 7.0.3 running.

Going into content manager / my michelin guides there is only one item marked speed cameras. I've removed it, synched, gone back and pressed the update and synch again but it's still showing August.

Same problem with the michelin guides - all showing as 2007 and the update link does zilch.

Any ideas?

All I can suggest is that you look at page 93 onwards in your Manual; Page 96 shows a picture of the actual page you should be looking at. Does that look familiar?
This is what my screen looks like. Is it similar to yours?
Here This is just the 'A's Andorra and Austria. Scroll down to see all other european countries.

It's the same page as you show on your link, and looking at the manual, it says I'm doing it right. I'll send support an email and see if they can shed any light.

Thanks:)

Think I've solved it due to the forum archives.

Turned off firewall, antivirus and spysweeper.
Ran the disk and chose the Repair option
Ran the 7.0.3 update again

Then it showed the updates and allowed me to update. Now showing the latest updates in content manager.

Aren't forums great? Thanks!
