But as we’re losing ad-revenue from this then why not make a donation towards website running costs?. Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!

OTOH, trying to force CP7 to use the secondary and local streets by creating custom profiles has not worked very well, possibly due to some routing logic as mentioned above.
.
I have found that CP7 is VERY reluctant to use smaller roads, even when a waypoint is selected that happens to be on one. I have a route that I use for work which avoids the local town centre and gets me out of the 30mph limit v quickly; despite the fact that I have placed 2 waypoints on this route, supposedly to force CP7 to go the way I want (and the road, although unclassified, has no speed limit) and CP7 tries all sorts of things to avoid doing it - including demanding a turn directly away from a waypoint which is less than quarter of a mile ahead and with no other way of reaching it!
Anyone have any ideas? _________________ Leon Jabachjabic
I have found the same problem with both CoPilot 6 and 7.
The routing is very reluctant to use smaller roads (especially if they are roads with no name), even when instructed to do so by carefully-placed waypoints.
Suggest you send examples to ALK, as I have done. _________________ CoPilot Live 7, Fugawi Global Navigator, Pocket Streets, iPAQ 5550, GlobalSat BT338 GPS, Brodit Powered PDA mount, Jabra BT250 headset.
