Trying to purchase new map

I have been trying to purchase the North American 7.20 map since late last night. I have been able to go right through the selection screen and input my credit card details. About 5 seconds after I click on submit I get the following error message:

"The internet server had an internal error. It may be a temporary problem. Please try again later."

I then have options to report this to Tomtom (anonymous).

I am unclear as to why there is (anonymous) as I have a Tomtom account

Is anyone else having / has had this problem or is a quick call to Tomtom support required?

The Americans are all probably trying to download their maps at that time.

Mid-morning UK will be the wee small hours in the US, so that might be a better time.

Alternatively, if you leave it a day or two the rush might have subsided enough for you to be able to complete the transaction
